Group CFO – Consumer Goods Distributor

Our client is a reputable Consumer Goods Distributor, currently experiencing rapid expansion. As part of this growth, they are seeking a high-caliber Group CFO to lead transformation efforts, strengthen processes, and build a cohesive team to support the company’s continued success..

  • Strategic Growth & Process Enhancement: Drive forecasting, budgeting, and core process redesigns to align finance with the business’s strategic vision, sustain performance, and achieve measurable growth through enhanced productivity and efficiency.
  • Data Organization & Business Efficiency: Leverage advanced analytics (including predictive modeling and stress testing) to identify growth opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive data-driven decision-making. Optimize SKU management and platform margins through effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strategic Initiatives & Financial Leadership: Drive cross-functional initiatives, such as post-acquisition integration, process redesign, and systems harmonization, to ensure operational alignment, mitigate risks, and foster sustainable growth. Oversee M&A financial integration (reporting, compliance), collaborating with stakeholders to execute projects that optimize resources, enhance scalability, and deliver measurable value.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Risk Management: Lead transparent communication with stakeholders on risk, compliance, and control initiatives; oversee financial reporting, tax/regulatory filings, and treasury activities (investments, debt/equity); and provide strategic financial insights to the Board of Directors.
  • Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a regional distribution or platform business with wide product coverage. Experience in post-acquisition integration and process optimization is essential.
  • Skills: Strong expertise in financial strategy, business finance, internal controls, and data-driven decision-making. Hands-on experience in process optimization and system upgrades.
